By Hakan Akbas

If you are new to internet marketing or thinking about starting an internet marketing business, chances are you're aware that being an affiliate marketer could be pretty lucrative. Not only that, you are free from the headache of creating your own product and dealing with customer service related issues. However, if you are unable to find products to promote, chances of making money in this business is zero.

In this article I will share with you, three dead easy ways for you to find affiliate products to promote.

Let's get started

1 - Affiliate networks

Affiliate networks, are intermediary between product sellers and affiliates. In essence they are a marketplace full of products that affiliates can pick and choose to promote, along with providing them with basic information on how well a product is performing, so that affiliates can make an informed decision on which products they want to promote.

Joining and affiliate network is free of charge, however each network will have some criteria to being accepted in the network, you may have go through a process to be accepted as an affiliate to promote a particular product. The two most common networks affiliate marketers us are ClickBank and Jvzoo. However there are plenty more out there, just do a Google search on affiliate networks.

2 - Use the search engines

In addition to the affiliate networks to find products to promote, you can you use the search engines, as a lot of product sellers have their own in-house affiliate programs or have products in the affiliate network, which is only accessible through a private invite.

To find an affiliate program on the search engines, simply type in the search box, affiliate + your niche specific product, like affiliates + gardening.

There's two draw backs to in-house affiliate programs, their statically information on product performance isn't independently verified and if they go bust during the time while waiting for your commission payment, chances are you're not going to get what's owed to you. To limit your business exposure, research the product seller and the product.

3 - Join other people's mailing lists

By joining the mailing list of the other marketers in your niche, you'll be able to spy on them on which products they are promoting. Think about this for a moment, it's pretty likely they've done the research and are pretty confident that it'll sell.

One main drawback to this would, if everyone is promoting the same product, chances are people will buy using the affiliate link of a marketer that they know like and trust. To differentiate yourself from the competition, you could offer extra bonuses to people who buy from your link. This could be a product you've created or have the rights to give as bonus. If you do use a PLR product, I would strongly recommend you make the necessary changes to make it unique to you.
